In 2006, when I moved to Penang, Desa Permai Indah is the first apartment I stayed. That is second year I posted to northern region. At that time the whole original unit is rented for RM650 per month which has 3 bedrooms. I do not know what is the selling price at that time. Probably is about RM180,000 for a unit.
Desa Permai Indah also known as Hamna Apartment. It is a leasehold properties. There are total of 7 blocks namely Block K, Block L, Block M, Block N, Block O, Block P & Block Q. Each floor has 8 units and each unit has an approximately built up area of 920 sqft to 970 sqft. Each unit come with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The apartment completed in 1997.
The facilities offered include a car park, cascading fountain, car way bay, landscape garden, swimming pool, playground, tennis court, barbeque pit and 24 hours security.
Desa Permai Indah apartments block are linked by foot path and a landscaped courtyard that features a series of harmonious species of trees and fountain. Amenities like food court, banks, restaurant, shops and hypermarket are all within walking distance. Within the vicinity is the University Sains Malaysia and Tesco Extra. It is also a 20 minute drive to the airport and town area. The Bayan Lepas Free trade zone is close by as are the Penang Bridge and Prai Free Trade zone.
I loved staying there because it is closed to the Penang bridge, near to the airport and bus station. It is very convenience.
