Effective 11th July 2015, KTM Berhad offers the following train services:

1. Train ETS Ekpres : KL Sentral – Padang Besar
2. Train ETS Transit : Ipoh – Butterworth – Padang Besar

For Train ETS Ekpres : KL Sentral – Padang Besar

There are total of 15 stops in between KL Sentral and Padang Besar
Below are the travelling time and adult ticket fare for the stops in major cities :

1. KL Sentral – Taiping / Taiping – KL Sentral : 3 hours @ RM47
2. KL Sentral – Butterworth / Butterworth – KL Sentral : 4 hours @ RM59
3. KL Sentral – Sungai Petani / Sungai Petani – KL Sentral : 4.5 hours @ RM66
4. KL Sentral – Alor Star / Alor Star – KL Sentral : 5 hours @ RM73
5. KL Sentral – Padang Besar /Padang Besar – KL Sentral : 5.5 hours @ RM80

Schedule and ticket fare for Train ETS Ekpres : KL Sentral – Padang Besar

Train ETS Transit : Ipoh – Butterworth – Padang Besar

There are total of 24 stops in between Ipoh – Butterworth – Padang Besar
Below are the travelling time and adult ticket fare for the stops in major cities :

1. Ipoh – Taiping / Taiping – Ipoh : 40 mins @ RM15
2. Ipoh – Butterworth / Butterworth – Ipoh : 110 mins @ RM23
3. Butterworth – Sungai Petani / Sungai Petani – Butterworth : 32 mins @ RM12
4. Butterworth – Alor Star / Alor Star – Butterworth : 65 mins @ RM17

At the moment, there are limited travelling schedule to choose. However there will be more travelling time added into schedule when the new ETS coaches start operation in near future.
