When I was holidaying in Gold Coast Australia early of the month, I received a whatapps message telling me that the stock market had crashed! I do not concern much as I do ready for the crashed. Till today, KLSE has dropped more than 10% and the worst for the ASEAN country. But do we do anything when there is 10% corrections?

Most of us will ask, is market going to crashed? Will the bear market is coming etc?

The question we had to ask ourselves, are we ready when the opportunity knock our door? Last month, my Kulim friend, Kenn told me that there is a double story terraced in his Taman wanted to sell at $230K. The house only 8 houses away from his current rented house. He went to view the house after making appointment with property agent. The only downside of the house is the house had a lot of crack on the wall. Obviously I am not able to comment if that is normal or not. Or what caused the crack? It could be due to extensive heat cycle in Kulim weather or poor workmanship by developer. I cannot comment much on that property as I do not stay there and do any details study into it.

After a week, Kenn told me that the house was “gone”. Only then he realised that the market priced for the house is $290K. I replied with “Ouch…!” What a miss again for him. He miss the opportunity to buy Gold Coast 2 years ago with only $420K (at that time market value should be around $480K), compare to today priced at $650K.

So “Are you ready?” is a critical question to ask ourself.

During last Wednesday night group meeting, when the Club President mentioned there will be a lot of buying opportunity for next year since the economy will be slowing down. We will be targeting on the landed property and accumulate all of them whenever possible.

Then one of the new member as is it only will take actions next year and not doing anything now? I re-emphasize that we required to begin to do some study and do house viewing from now on so that able to understand the surrounding and all other factors that will affecting the property price decisions.

Very often, the opportunity is just in front of us and none of us can see it or take actions to grab it. Everyone has equal opportunities. They seem to pop up when you least expect them to. In order to grab it, you just need to take extra step and work towards it to acquire whatever you desired.
